It helped that I didn’t use a lot of red wall and floor covering and just did red furniture

We still need to kiss 2 more sims for our Aspiration so we’re still trolling for more partners lol

A note on Alizarin’s future journey: We can only have one kid, must leave someone at the alter, and cannot officially get married until we’re an elder.

So, we could have a baby with Molly, almost get married as young adults, get cold feet and then find each other again as elders and live happily ever after

With that plan in mind, here we go!

Hello! And we’re back! 4am and we join the family doing anything BUT the sensible option of sleeping.

At least Crimson is doing something productive like gardening.

So we sent them all to bed and then we all had a family breakfast at a more reasonable time lol

Ahhh…. yeah. I forgot about the vegetarian trait… Breakfast was bacon and eggs…

Oh good lord… You take the trash out in the dark ONE TIME and you become afraid…

It immediately revealed that two of our coworkers were imposters!

That night, Gemma was abducted. Does it have anything to do with finding the imposters at work? Who knows!

aaaaaaaaaaaaand we’re BACK! With another SUPER FUN chapter of my NSB challenge! Gemma is outside because when I loaded in, it told me that she was at the Onsen lol so we had to get her back

Also, I game the kid’s room a bit of a makeover since I figured that since they’re the red generation, that their room should be RED lol

Only two goals to go! Maxing the logic skill and topping the scientist career!

We won’t be able to top the career in this chapter, BUT we could maybe max the logic skill.

I’m also making a conscious effort to make them vegetarian because Gemma is a vegetarian.

Woo! This is Gemma maxing the logic skill! So now she just needs a couple of promotions and she’s done!

Crimson got a head start on his charisma skill. He’ll need that if you choose him as heir.

The girls will be doing the same when they age up, but for now, just Crimson

It’s storming outside. So Valencia is freaking out. So naturally, Alizarin is watching Val freak out.

Which is the origin of this moodlet that we saw Gemma had earlier in the chapter.

Chapter 1.2

Hello, everybody! Welcome back to my Not-So-Berry challenge! We start things off with the whole family in the living room!

Matt is running to the bed because he’s “scared”. Stupid paranoid trait lol

But it is really funny!

I bought a bookshelf after finding and selling some career objects in our inventory. This is great for both Gemma and Matt. Matt needs to learn some mixology (and I didn’t want to buy a bar, so we’re book learning.) and reading is an easy way to have breakthroughs for Gemma.

The kitchen also got a small remodel.

We’re down to $27. Someone better go to work soon and make us money lol

Oh good. Matt does work on Sundays. I forgot. So yay! We won’t be poor for long!

Meanwhile, Gemma’s stilly plucking away at trying to find our last 3 elements. (4 if you include the Sixam element from GTW)

Crimson is a cutie! His red hair and green eyes makes me believe that he belongs in my legendary challenge! That’s the genetic combo the heirs need to have!

At work Monday, we had to get to know one of our coworkers. And obviously we had to get to know one of our other sims, Suki Lockwood! (She’s from our lifestyle legacy)

Crimson finally gets his own room!

Gemma had a collecting day at work and we ended up with a crap ton of treasure maps and capsules. So we sold all of that which allowed us to add this bedroom

As well as update our bathroom and Gemma and Matt’s bed. We’re slowly making this house “nice” lol

We have to be disliked by two sims, so who better to get to dislike us than this mafia looking guy?!

I wanted to keep with the red naming theme but didn’t want to use the “obvious” girl names like Rose or Scarlet. So we settled on Valencia! I like it!

I downloaded a family portrait mod and I love it!

Also, no idea why Valencia has dark skin in this. She does on the sim panel too, but she’s not dark skin in game. It’s so weird.

And since he’s a kid now, he needed a big boy bed! So we added to the second bedroom.

Also, we had the chemistry lab in our inventory, so we obviously had to place that.

8AM Sunday rolls around and that brings the end of this play session. The whole family is doing there own thing and just living life!

Chapter 1.1

Hello! Welcome to my Not-So-Berry challenge! Here’s our founder, Gemma Behrie! (You may recognize her from my Drifter Challenge, just with lighter hair lol) We moved her into a started home in Del Sol Valley and we’re ready to get this challenge started!

One of the goals this generation is to max the science career, so we signed her up and she’s ready to go tomorrow!

With nothing to do until work tomorrow, we’re off to find Mr. Right!

(I’ve already scoped him out. One of the perks of playing a megahood is that I can spouse hunt for other houses while playing a different one lol)

And we were off to Newcrest!

Everyone, meet Matt Chase! Our selected spouse for this generation!

They’re a match made in heaven! Both of them are materialistic!

These two are moving pretty fast!

Not even 12 hours into this challenge and we have a proposal!

He said yes, because who doesn’t marry someone they met literally 10 hours ago

And we had tied the knot before 9pm!

We got home and we gave Matt a makeover. We kept his luscious locks, we just styled it a little lol

And we tried to keep him in the minty color for this generation

And then I decided that the house needed a makeover as well. Now instead of dull and orange, it’s light and minty(ish)

(don’t worry, I changed the colors of the couch. I missed it.)

Matt needed a job, so he’s now employed in the culinary career. Since someone needs to do the cooking in the family

Goodness they are freaking cute together! I love them!

And we bought the element display rack since one of the goals of this generation is to find all the elements. I’ve never actually completed this collection before, so that should be interesting.
